CAS-ual Fridays & CardMaker Blog Hop!

Hello there!   Today the CAS-ual Fridays DT and the CardMaker DT are joining forces for a fun and flowery blog hop!    You should've arrived here from Savannah's blog.

I've used a bunch of CAS-ual Fridays stamp sets for my card - Casual Comfort (leaves), Pretty Posies (flowers), Be (butterfly), & Loving Thoughts (sentiment).  All of these stamps  - and the entire store, are 15% off when you use the coupon code KIMBERLY2017 at checkout!!

I started by masking the bottom of my card base and stamping the leaves in a variety of green inks, sometimes stamping without reinking.   To add the illusion of blue sky, I used a foam blending pad and added a light touch of Broken China Distress Oxide ink.  I stamped and colored the flowers with Copics and then die cut them with the coordinating Posies dies.  I adhered them to the card base, adding foam adhesive to one for dimension.

I stamped the sentiment below a strip of thin gold washi tape, and die cut the Friend die and adhered that as well.    A little touch of gold Stickles and the card was complete!

Your next stop on the hop is Teresa's  blog.  I'm sure she's got something gorgeous to share with you!   Remember to leave comments along the hop for your chance to win some fabulous prizes!    If you've gotten lost along the way, the complete hop list can be found at either the CAS-ual Fridays blog or the CardMaker blog.

Remember, if you want to shop over at CAS-ual Fridays, you can use my special code, KIMBERLY2017, at any time - it's good on everything, including sale items!!  Happy hopping & shopping!

  20. Beautiful card ! I like the "landscape" you created -- it works perfect next to the bold "friend", and the finer sentiment at the bottom.
