You're a Good Egg!

Hi everyone!   I'm stopping by this evening with a fun card made with the adorable Sunny Studio stamp set A Good Egg!

This has got to be one of the cutest stamp sets ever!   I spent a good share of the day today making Easter cards - and while this one isn't strictly for Easter, I love how it turned out!   I stamped and heat embossed the chick in his egg with Versafine and clear EP.   I created a mask by stamping the image again on masking paper and using it to cover up the embossed image.   I was then easily able to stamp several eggs so that they appear behind my little chick friend!   I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils  - I love how vivid the white looks on the kraft cardstock!   I framed the image with an MFT frame die and mounted it on several layers of paper from Doodlebug.

Hope you've enjoyed my card today.   Have a fabulous Easter with family and friends, everyone!   See you again soon.

Inky Paws #30 - Spring Theme!

Hi everyone!   Are you ready to play along with another Inky Paws Challenge with Newton's Nook Designs?   The theme is 'Spring' - and aren't we all ready to embrace that?!?!   I know I am!

My card today uses the new Beautiful Wings stamp set.   I can't get enough of this one!   Butterflies flying through the clouds says spring to me!   I die cut a stitched rectangle and masked off some clouds with masking paper.   I blended in a soft blue for the sky.  I partially die cut the largest butterfly from the side of the stitched panel.   The butterflies were colored in a monochromatic color scheme -  two were stamped directly on my stitched rectangle and three were die cut.  I adhered the stitched rectangle to the card base with foam adhesive and adhered the large butterfly directly to the card base.   The others were popped up on the stitched panel with foam adhesive.  The end result is some really awesome dimension!

Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop 2016

Hello, crafty friends!   I'm a few days late posting my coffee card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop, but I had a few minutes today to photograph and blog my creation, so here you go!

This cute stamp is called Warm Wishes from Waffle Flower, and the awesome ombre patterned paper is from Lil' Inker.   I colored and fussy cut the coffee cup/saucer, adding a few details with a white gel pen.   I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it using Liquid Platinum embossing powder from Ranger.  I created a shaker using the scalloped frame die and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.   This turned out so cute - I can't resist a shaker card....or a coffee cup with a face!

Side note - I stopped drinking caffeinated drinks about three weeks ago because between my coffee and Diet Pepsi, I was WAY too addicted!   I just started adding in one or two cups of coffee in the morning two days ago.   Goodness, I missed my coffee!   Such a relief to have it back (in smaller quantities, lol!)  Have fun hopping along!  So much coffee goodness to see!
