Lil' Inker Designs July Release - Day 3

Hello there! It's the third and final day of Lil' Inker Designs' July release. Be sure to read to the end to find out how you can win the entire release!

I've got a card for you today made with the new Perfect Palette die, Spiffy Spots stamp set and the Quilted Stitched - So Stylish die!

I used the Perfect Palette die to quickly cut several circles in shades of coral, orange and yellow. I lined them up on a white card panel die cut with the Quilted Stitched - So Stylish die. Isn't that texture gorgeous?! All of the Quilted Stitched dies are my favorite - I could never pick just one, lol! I added some circles stamped in black ink from the Spiffy Spots stamp set, and a flag with the sentiment heat embossed in white to complete this card!

Lil' Inker Designs July Release - Day 2

Today I'm sharing a card made with the most adorable new set, Animal Doctors, and the new Perfect Palette die!

I die cut the Perfect Palette die twice - once from a heart patterned paper and once from a plaid patterned paper. I popped the plaid circles inside the empty circles, and cut a small rectangle to place in the center for my doggie doctor! I die cut and colored Dr. Dog and the tiny accessories with Copic markers and added them to the card with foam tape.

Lil' Inker Designs July Release - Day 1

Good morning! It's time for Lil' Inker Designs' July release - this month's release is small, but mighty, lol! There are lots of awesome products that I'm sure you're going to be excited about! Be sure to read to the end to find out how you can win the entire release!

Today I'm sharing a card made with the super duper cute new Scooter Balloons stamps and dies. Ever know just exactly how you want to use a stamp set when you see it for the first time? Yep, I knew this adorable scooter would be awesome partially die cut. I decided where I wanted the scooter on my card panel and die cut just half of it (by only covering the portion of the die I wanted cut with my cutting plates). I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers, and added some Glossy Accents to the balloons. I added the panel to my card base with foam adhesive.

Newton's Nook 5 Year Anniversary Blog Hop

Hi there, crafty friends! I'm super excited to be joining the Newton's Nook design team and special guests for the 5 Year Celebration Blog Hop! I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a NND design team member, and I was thrilled Jen asked me to be a part of their 5th year celebratory blog hop! Now - on to my projects!

First up, a card using a brand new stencil and one of my all-time favorite NND sets, Tranquil Tides. I started by inking a square panel of Yupo paper with shades of turquoise, blue and purple alcohol inks. Next, I used the brand new Tropical Fish Stencil and spread on some metallic embossing paste. After allowing that to dry a bit, I added a shaker element with a vellum window. A tropical fish & piece of coral stamped, heat embossed and die cut from Tranquil Tides finished off this card!

Next up is a card using the super fun new Shark Frenzy stamp set! I created a card fit for a dapper dude by first adhering three shades of grey cardstock to a thin piece of white paper. I stamped and heat embossed the sharks on this piece. I fussy cut a little bow tie for one of the sharks to go along with the funny sentiment!
