CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Merry Christmas & Happy Hannukah Fri-Dies

We're sharing two gorgeous new dies with you all today - one set for Hanukkah and one for Christmas!    These dies cut beautiful delicate words - and for the Hanukkah set, there are two dies with both of the spellings!   Awesome!

I created the same card in two color schemes - those sentiments sparkle and shine when die cut from glitter paper!
There's more to share tomorrow, so be sure to stop back and see what the design team has created!   Can't wait to see you then!

CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Mistletoe Fri-Die

Good morning!   It's day three of inspiration using CAS-ual Fridays' latest release.   Today we are sharing projects made with the brand new companion die for last year's Mistletoe & Holly stamp set!   I'm so excited to have a die for this set!
I stamped the mistletoe and colored it in with Copic markers.  I used the new Mistletoe Fri-Dies to cut out the image - I love that this die cuts out those tiny spaces between the leaves!  Next I added some Nuvo drops for the berries and a sparkling gold bow (also die cut with the Mistletoe Fri-Die set).

The sentiment, from Mistletoe & Holly, was heat embossed in white to complete the card!   Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see another project using the new release!   And don't forget that the coupon code KIMBERLYSENTME is valid on anything you'd like (including the new release!!!) from the CAS-ual Fridays store.   Just enter the code at checkout!

CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Dashing Stamps & Dies

Hi again, crafty friends!   Today the CAS-ual Fridays design team and I are sharing projects made with the new Dashing stamps and dies!   I love this swirly, twirly die cut word, don't you?!
I started by stamping the snowflake tree from an older set, Sugar Plum Fairy, in several shades of Catherine Pooler inks.   Next, i die cut the Snow sentiment twice, once from glitter paper and once from grey cardstock, and layered them up.

I stamped the 'let it' from Dashing with grey ink, then added the layered die cut word.   I also stamped a few snowflakes from the Dashing set around the sentiment.

There you have it!    I hope you've enjoyed my card.   I'll be back again tomorrow with some more CFS goodness for you!   See you then!

CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Big Hope

Hi everyone!   I hope you're having a fabulous weekend so far.   CAS-ual Fridays' fabulous October release is now available, and today the DT and I are showcasing a beautiful new die called Big Hope.   This die can be used for a number of things, but since this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and out fearless leader, Michele is a survivor of this horrible disease, I wanted to "think pink".
I blended several shades of pink Distress Oxide inks onto just half of my card, and then flicked on some water droplets for interest.   I die cut the Big Hope die and added the lightest color pink ink onto just the top half of the die.    I used the Big Hope die to cut a few more words and then stacked them all up for dimension, and adhered to the card right where the light pink ink fades to white for a tone on tone look.    I added the supporting sentiment (from Hope Ribbon) in grey ink.

I love how simple this card is - it let's that beautiful die cut word steal the show.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today - be sure to stop back over the next several days to see more inspiration using the October release!    If you are ready to order, be sure to use my special code, KIMBERLYSENTME to save 15%!    See you soon!

Lil' Inker Designs October Release - Day 3

Hi friends!   It's the third and final day of the Lil' Inker Designs October release.   Remember, all the stamps and dies are available for purchase now - you don't have to wait!    I've got a card to share today using a beautiful new Autumn stamp and die called Blossoms & Banners Autumn!

I stamped and colored in the pretty banner with Copic markers, pulling the colors from the pretty background paper.  I love the variety of sentiments in this set - you can stamp what you want on whichever banner you choose to use!   I added a few die cut leaf and acorn filler pieces towards the bottom of my banner.  The background uses one of my favorites - the Quilted Stitched Pattern die.   I simply adhered the banner to this piece with foam adhesive to complete the card!

That's all for now,  but be sure to stop at each of the design team's blogs for the three days of our October release hop and leave comments each day for a chance to WIN this entire release!    Some lucky crafter is going to be happy, happy, happy!

Lil' Inker Designs October Release - Day 2

Good morning!    Today the design team is celebrating day two of  Lil' Inker Designs amazing October release!   Yesterday I shared some holiday projects, so today I'm switching gears a bit - I've got a Thanksgiving card for you!

I used the super cute new Hap-pie Thanksgiving stamp set for the sentiment here and the Pie die for my pumpkin slice.   I die cut all of the pie elements and added some inked detail.   Just a touch of brown on the orange cardstock made the perfect shade for pumpkin pie!

I set my pie aside and used the Cover Up-Diagonal Plaid die to create the fun background.   I die cut this several times and inlaid the different color pieces to create this look.    All that was left was to add the sentiment and die cut pie to complete the card!

That's all for today, but be sure to hop along leaving comments for a chance to WIN this entire release!    And stop by again tomorrow for one more day of inspiration using all the brand new stamps & dies!  See you tomorrow!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers & CAS-ual Fridays Collaboration Blog Hop!

Hello friends!    Today I'm participating in a fun collaboration blog hop with CAS-ual Fridays and Coffee Loving Cardmakers!   There's lots of inspiration to be found if you hop along with us....and of course, a chance to win some great prizes!
My card today uses some fantabulous CAS-ual Fridays coffee stamp sets - they are all linked below!   I started by stamping the 'I just want to drink coffee' sentiment from Coffee Talk repeatedly down the right hand side of my card panel.   This is super easy if you have a MISTI stamping tool - just place the stamp on the MISTI door and move your cardstock up or down to get the spacing however you'd like!
Next I added a hand cut banner and added the 'coffee' die cut word and the tiny coffee mug from the Coffee Cup Fri-Die set.   I finished the stamping with another sentiment from Coffee Talk.  To finish the card off, I added a coating of Glossy Accents to the die cuts.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today!   Be sure to hop along using the InLinkz tool below.    Three lucky winners will win $25 gift certificates just by leaving comments along the hop!   Remember, you can use my special code, KIMBERLYSENTME, at the CAS-ual Fridays store to save 15% on any of the goodies you've seen me use here.....and EVERYTHING else in the store as well!    Happy hopping!

Halloween is in the Air!

Happy Hump Day, friends!    I thought I'd share another card made with the newest release from Lil' Inker Designs.   I adore these stitched bats and couldn't wait to use them!

To create my card, I masked off the top and bottom of a piece of white cardstock and blended a few shades of Distress Oxide inks to create a night sky.   Before I removed the mask, I flicked on some stars with a paintbrush  dipped in some gesso mixed with water.

Once I removed the mask, I stamped the sentiment from Boo Balloons just below the inked portion and added a few of the Stitched Bats - the largest with dimensional adhesive.   To really make them pop I added some tiny eyes from Doodlebug!

I hope you've enjoyed my card today!   You can find all of the supplies over at the Lil' Inker Designs shop.   I've listed the products below!   Have a wonderful Wednesday!
