Yay! It's time for a new release of CAS-ual Fridays stamps!! I was super excited to receive my new stamps directly from Michele when I met her for the first time at CHA a couple weeks ago. How awesome is that?!
You're in for a treat, ladies & gentlemen, because this release is AWESOME!!!! We're showing off two brand new stamp sets today - Special Delivery & Heartfelt Sayings. Let's get to it!!
My first card uses the new Special Delivery stamp set along with the existing Mailbox Fri-Dies. I stamped and die cut my mailbox and colored it in with Copic markers. I used an X-acto knife to cut around the mailbox door so that it opens and closes - I was able to tuck a little stamped envelope inside with a special message on the back for the recipient!
To make the envelope easy to put in and take out, I layered foam tape on the back of the colored die cut and adhered another mailbox die cut to it. The dimension of the foam tape allows the envelope to slip in and out. An adhesive gem made the perfect mailbox pull!
My next card is a fun and bright birthday card made with the new Heartfelt Sayings stamp set.
I created my own background paper by repeatedly stamping the Happy Birthday sentiment with black ink. I colored in the tiny hearts and then adhered another Happy Birthday sentiment that had been matted with several colors of cardstock to the center of the focal panel. Such a fun and simple card!!
You'll be able to get your hands on these new stamps this Saturday when they are added to the CFS store! We have lots more to show you, so I hope you'll stop back tomorrow for the next reveal. And if you want to do some shopping now, you can always use my special code, KIMBERLY2017, to save 15% on your CAS-ual Fridays order. The coupon code doesn't expire, so feel free to use it whenever you want to shop!
