Happy Friday, crafty friends! We are celebrating all the gorgeous flowers that are finally starting to bloom (here in NY, at least) with a May Flowers Blog Hop! For my card today I used the gorgeous Newton's Nook stamp set Beautiful Blossoms - this is one of my very favorite NND sets! I took the Online Card Classes Clear & Sheer class last week, so I've been inspired to use vellum lately! I stamped the flowers and leaves with Versamark onto colored vellum and heat embossed them with white. I had the pink and purple vellum in my stash, but I used a Copic marker to create the soft green that I used for the leaves!
I fussy cut the flowers and attached them to a shaker element filled with Pretty Pink Posh sequins. The sentiment, from Simply Seasonal, was stamped and heat embossed onto the vellum shaker window before i put everything together.
