Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun framed piece of wall art I created for my mom's birthday. She mentioned that she wanted a picture to hang in her bathroom, and since she has a seashell/seahorse theme, I knew Tranquil Tides was the perfect Newton's Nook stamp set to use to create something special for her!
Each section of the framed project was created the same way - I stamped the coral with several colors of Hero Arts Shadow inks using the rock-n-roll technique directly onto the paper.
I used my MISTI tool to stamp each seahorse/fish/seashell first with a color, and again with a very light coat of metallic rose gold ink.
I used the coordinating Tranquil Tides dies to die cut all of the seahorses/fish/seashells. Glossy Accents made for the perfect tiny bubbles!
And here's a photo of my wall art gracing my mom's bathroom wall. I couldn't have been more pleased with how coordinated the look was - from the stamps to the colors I chose, it was a perfect match!
I hope this inspires you to use your stamps for something other than cards/scrapbook layouts!
Have a wonderful day!
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L and so elegant!
