Newton's Nook Designs January Release - Wild About Zoo

Hello! I'm so excited....today is the first day of the Newton's Nook Designs January reveal! Today marks the debut of "Wild About Zoo", a super cute new set.    There are so many options with this set - I think it would make an adorable baby card!  I had just received some new dies from Pretty Pink Posh, and I couldn't resist having the little animals peek out of the windows in the Stitched Filmstrip Die!

I stamped each of the animals on white cardstock and colored them in with Copics.  The sentiment is heat embossed (I LOVE that sentiment!)  I used a few of the patterned hearts included in the set to create a background using Versamark ink for just a subtle effect. The patterned paper strip was added and I felt like I needed to add in some more color so I punched out a few pink hearts and covered them with Wink of Stella glitter pen and glossy accents.  And because I can't say a card is complete until there are sequins on it, I had to add a few here and there!

Would you like to win “Wild About Zoo”?

This set will be given away to TWO lucky winners
Here's how to win:
Comment on the NND blog and Design Team and Guest blogs (see list below)! Two winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs release posts. Make sure to check out each of their blogs and comment for your chance to win. You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning! You have until Thursday, January 15th at 9pm CDT to comment  -- winners will be announced on the blog post on Friday, January 16th.
