Hello & Happy Veteran's Day, friends! First off, a huge thank you to those who have served and are serving our country. I couldn't be more proud and thankful for your service!
Newton's Nook Designs has two brand new stamp sets releasing this month, and today we are showing off the awesome new "Jolly Tags" stamps and coordinating dies! I don't know about you, but I love to make handmade tags for the holidays. It's something I've done for the last several years - it's a great (and FAST) way to use all those awesome holiday stamps that you just "haven't had time" to use on a card yet! I think it's something about the tiny size that makes it less intimidating, lol!
I decided to make a bunch of tags to have on hand and to keep them all together, I added them to a book ring and tied them with a cute gingham ribbon. Now they are less likely to get lost in my Christmas wrapping frenzy, and I can easily add more tags as I make them, and easily get them off to use them! The die is awesome since it adds the hole at the top as well as cutting out the basic shape!
And since we are all short on time at the holidays, I thought rather than coloring each and every tag, heat embossing some in gold still makes for a nice and elegant handmade tag!
Make sure to stop back tomorrow to see the next amazing stamp set reveal from NND! And a crafty video from yours truly! My first one ever....so go easy on me! Ha!
