Newton's Nook July Release & 2 Year Celebration - Day 2



I'm back for day two of the Newton's Nook Designs July release!   Today we have a set filled with sweet treats - "Summer Scoops"!

This card is super simple - there was just a lot of masking involved!   The sweet treats were all colored with Copics and I added some Glossy accents to the popsicles.   A strip of washi tape across the top and some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were all that was needed to finish off this card!

    Such a simple but totally sweet take on this set ... You really let the set & colors take center stage but the little touch of washi tape just finished it off ... Great card

    I am LOVING this ice cream card - the masking is fantastic and the added glossy texture! So fun and perfect for summer. It reminds me of going to an old timey ice cream parlor!!
