We've reached day three of the Newton's Nook Designs March release! The new stamps will be available TOMORROW! Our friend Newton is back in this cute set, Newton's Birthday Flutter!
Can you believe it?! I didn't use Newton on this card - just the cute little birds! The birds were stamped on a tag and masked so I could create some clouds in the background with Distress Ink. The balloons were fussy cut - some out of patterned paper and some colored with Copics. After they were cut, they got a coating of Glossy Accents and once dry, a bit of floss tied around the ends for the strings. I love how the balloons turned out popped up on dimensional adhesive! The strings were manipulated so it looks like the birds have them in their beaks! Some ribbon, twine and another adorable sentiment finish up this card! Be sure to stop at Yukari's blog next!
