CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Chanukah!

Happy Saturday!   Today is the day....the day the new release hits the CAS-ual Fridays store!   Before you go check out the new goodies over there, here is a peek at the new Chanukah stamp set!
CFS has some of the best Chanukah stamps around - and this new set is no exception!    I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and cut it out.   I punched holes in either end and strung a ribbon throughit and mounted it to my background with foam tape.   The background was created by stamping a variety of the stars from the Star of David stamp set.

So that wraps things up!   If you want to do some shopping over at the CAS-ual Fridays store, be sure to use my special coupon code, KIMBERLY2017, to save 15% on everything - including new release and sale items!!!

Have a fantastic weekend - thanks for stopping by!

CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Joy

**This is my second post for today - for the Hero Arts "Jump Start the Holidays" blog hop, click HERE **

Hello there!   We are on day number three of sneak peeks for the October CAS-ual Fridays release.   We've had some fun and snarky sentiments, and now it's time to share a holiday stamp set!   This new stamp set, called Joy, is filled with large scale words and fun snowflakes.  It will be available with all the other new stamp sets this Saturday (tomorrow!!) in the CAS-ual Fridays store!
I kept my card pretty simple - I masked the snowflake and stamped and heat embossed the letters with red glitter embossing powder.   Next I masked the letters and stamped and heat embossed the snowflake.   I really like how the embossing looks on patterned paper - it's a nice subtle background for the bold sentiment!

Check in again tomorrow to see the final stamp set of the release!   See you then!

Lots of inspiration on this hop today.

I'm thrilled to be hopping along and celebrating both Hero Arts and Lea's crafty comeback!  Now, on to my card!!

I stamped the fun background with Hero Arts' Candy Stripe Bold background.   I love it so much!  I can't wait to use this for non-holiday cards too!   Next I created a shaker card using the owl, trees & sentiment from Holiday Animals .   I added some snowy hills using dies from a since sold-out My Monthly Hero kit from last year.   The shaker is filled with a mixture of  Prisma Glitter & Polar White Flower Soft to create the snow!

Your next stop on the hop is my talented teammate Melissa'shttp://inkedregards.com/jump-start-holidays-hop-hero-arts/ blog!  Be sure to leave comments on all of the hop stops for your chance to win a prize from Hero Arts!

Thanks so much for stopping by - have a fantastic weekend!

CAS-ual Fridays October Release - Bomb Diggity!

Hello there!   Today is sneak peek day #2 of the fabulous CAS-ual Fridays October release!   Today's set is the awesome 'Bomb Diggity'!
I have to tell you - this is my favorite card from this release - and it was super easy!   I stamped the sentiment in the middle and added accents to the top and bottom of the card by stamping the awesome Modern Petals stamp set with black and raspberry inks (pssst....this stamp set is on sale now, and you can stack the sale with the special coupon code below!)   I die cut a few 4 Petal Fri-Dies (also on sale!) and adhered them just in the center so the flower petals have some lift.   A few black pearl gems in the center of each flower was the finishing touch.

That's it for today - stop by tomorrow to see the first of two holiday stamp sets!   If you want to shop the items I mentioned above (or any others for that matter!), use the code KIMBERLY2017 to save an additional 15%!!

I have a special discount code you can use anytime you want to shop at CFS - just enter the code KIMBERLY2017 to save 15%.   The code is good on everything in the store - even the new release stamps!   And head over the the CAS-ual Fridays blog for a chance to win one of several $15 prizes!   See you again tomorrow for our next sneak peek!

Never Give Up Hope!

Hello again!   Thanks for stopping by!  Today I have a card to share using items from the Calling All Sistahs collection by CAS-ual Fridays.    Since October is breast cancer awareness month, if you purchase any items from this fabulous collection this month, 75% (rather the usual 50%) will be donated to nationalbreastcancer.org.   Pretty awesome, I'd say!
I created my card by stamping the back side of the Hope Ribbon with Versamark and heat embossing it in white.   After it cooled a minute, I stamped the front side of the stamp  with Versamark, and heat embossed with several shades of pink glitter embossing powder from WOW.   I added the sentiment on a cardstock strip and stacked several of the Hope Fri-Die for dimension.

Hope you've enjoyed my card today!   Head over to CFS to check out all of the awesome things going on this month - it's our 5th birthday and there is an awesome sale going on! You can stack the awesome deals by using my coupon code, KIMBERLY2017, to save an additional 15% on everything in the store!   Woo-hoo!!

HB2U, CAS-ual Fridays!

Hello there!   Hope you've enjoyed the weekend - I can't believe Monday is looming - there's never enough time  during the weekends is there?!

Today I'm sharing a card in honor of CAS-ual Fridays' 5th Birthday!    Woo-hoo!   And check below for info on a special sale and a discount code!

I began by stamping the Full on Floral background with red ink onto pink paper - I love the contrast!   I highlighted some of the flowers with pale yellow & white colored pencil.   I kept it simple and let the heat embossed sentiment, from Whole Shebang shine!   The hashtag (from Rad 2)  was a punny accent I couldn't resist  - those sweet birthday cake calories DEFINITELY shouldn't count, am I right?!

OK - so, in honor of CAS-ual Fridays' 5th birthday, Michele has put everything in the 'Birthday Category' on sale 20% off through October 31, no code needed!   AND, you can save 15% on top of that as well by using my code, KIMBERLY2017!   How awesome is that?!   The code will get you 15% off everything - not just items in the birthday category - #sweet!

A Blog Named Hero October Challenge

http://www.ablognamedhero.com/2017/10/challenge-calling-all-critters-with-lawn-fawn-part-one
Hello!  Can you believe it is October already?!   Goodness, the year is flying by!   We had a wonderful weekend picking apples and pumpkins....so I hope you'll forgive me for jumping the gun a little with a holiday card, lol!

This month A Blog Named Hero is collaborating with none other than the fabulous Lawn Fawn for a super fun challenge - just use a critter (or critters) on your cards along with some Hero Arts goodies and link up over at A Blog Named Hero!
For my card, I combined stamp sets from Hero Arts (trees, lights, present & sentiment from Holiday Animals) and Lawn Fawn (critters from Beary Happy Holidays).  I stamped the trees onto blue cardstock using Distress Oxide inks - they look so vibrant, I just love it!   Then I flicked on some gesso mixed with water to create a snowy scene.  I tucked my Copic colored critters and accessories into some stitched hill dies from Lawn Fawn to finish things off!

Hope you've enjoyed my card today - be sure to link up your own critter card at A Blog Named Hero....can't wait to see what you create!!
