WCMD with Winnie & Walter - Rainbow Colour Challenge

Hello!   I have a card to share using supplies from Winnie & Walter - I adore their stamps and dies!   I'm entering this card into the Rainbow Colour Challenge with Gayatri.

I die cut the solid heart from the True Multifaceted Heart dies from some toner paper and ran it through my Minc with rainbow coloured foil.   It is gorgeous, I tell you!! Rainbow colours just make me happy!   I die cut the heart frame from solid black cardstock and adhered it over the foiled heart, leaving some pieces inside for added interest.   The sentiment comes from the Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T stamp set.

Simple, and colorful!   Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, crafty friends!

CAS-ual Fridays Release Day 5

So here we are, the last day of CAS-ual Fridays release week!    (Be sure to stop by the CAS-ual Fridays blog for a TON of inspiration from the whole DT!) Today we are sharing out final stamp set, Tin Roof, an awesome background building stamp!

I love this stamp!    So many possibilities with this one!   I wanted to use my favorite rainbow Deco Foil paper to really show it off, so I stamped the image down the side of a 4 x 5.25 piece of black cardstock with Versamark, sprinkled on sticky embossing powder and heat embossed it to activate the glue.    I burnished the foil down onto the sticky image and when I lifted it up....voila!   Isn't it stunning!   I love anything in rainbow colors, lol!    I die cut the 'Smile' die from my panel, being sure to save the inner pieces from the 'l' and 'e'.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, from Pretty Posies with white embossing powder and then mounted the panel onto a white card base.   I carefully replaced those tiny inner bits of the letters, and that's it!   A super simple card with a TON of impact!

So which stamps and dies are your favorites from the release?  I'd love to hear!   Everything Michele and the rest of the DT has shown this week will be available at 12 a.m. EST Saturday!    Be sure to use my special code, KIMBERLY16, to save 15% off when you shop!

Take care and have a FABULOUS weekend, friends!

Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #17 - Use a Heart!

Yay!  It's Friday!   And it's also time for a new Inky Paws Challenge with Newton's Nook!   The challenge this time is to use a heart on your project.   This was an easy one with the adorable new January release!

I used Newton Dreams of Paris along with a new-to-me product, iCraft Deco Foil (in Rainbow).
The directions say to use their transfer adhesive, but I'm a rebel and thought I'd try it by stamping with VersaMark then adding sticky embossing powder, then burnishing on the foil - and it worked!   I'm super happy with the results, and I'll have to buy some more of the foil to have on hand!  Since the colorful Eiffel Tower is the main focus, I kept the rest of the card simple, by adding a strip of Washi tape and some black cardstock strips at the bottom.   Some little heart sequins finished the card off.

I can't wait to see what you all create for the challenge!   Have fun, and be sure to link up your creation back at the Newton's Nook blog for a chance to win a store credit!
