Peace & Comfort

Hi there, friends!   I can't believe March is here already!   We've had some nice weather, and I'm feeling particularly spring-y (ha ha!  is that a word?), so I broke out one of my older CAS-ual Fridays floral stamp sets and combined it with a new sentiment for a pretty sympathy card.   Sympathy cards are notoriously hard to make, but this big bold sentiment takes center stage, and the flowers add a pretty frame.
I started by stamping and heat embossing the sentiment from Peace & Comfort onto the center of my grey card base.   Next I stamped and heat embossed the flowers and leaves from  Pretty Posies onto vellum, and colored the back sides with Copic markers for a light and airy feel.

I added the flowers and leaves around the sentiment with glue dots for dimension, leaving some hanging off of the edge of the card.   I snipped the overhanging bits and added some clear drops from Studio Katia to the center of the flowers to finish off the card.

That's all I've got for you today, thanks so much for stopping by!   As always, feel free to use the code KIMBERLYSENTME when shopping at CAS-ual Fridays to save 15% on your order!  Have a wonderful weekend!
