I created an ink blended background using several shades of Distress Oxide inks and flicked on some water and some gesso for added interest. I added the Script Heart die to the center of my inked panel (the stitched lines were added using the stitched rectangle dies). I mounted this onto a card base that had been die cut with the new Quilted Stitched XOXO die - gosh how I love those quilted stitched backgrounds.....all of them!! I added a few tiny hearts die cut from the Love is Love dies.
Next up is a card using the adorable Farm Love stamp set - these little animals are so stinkin' cute!! I stamped the pig and his heart bouquet on one of the Wonky Square die shapes. I colored him with Copics and added some grass, Glossy Accents and google eyes!
I cut several strips of dotted paper in Valentine's Day colors and adhered them to the right side of my card. I had planned to add the Wonky Square over top, but I felt it needed a border. A quick tip I discovered when you don't want to add more paper (or a layer as wide as the next size die in the set) is to run a Copic marker along the edges - voila! Instant colored "layer"!
The sentiments in this set crack me up - I can't wait to play more with this set!!!
That's all from me for today, but my fellow DT members have lots more to share with you! Remember to leave comments at all of the blogs for a chance to win the ENTIRE January release! I've got more to share with you tomorrow, so be sure to stop back! Until then..... :)
