Colorful Florals with Newton's Nook

Hi there!    Today I'm sharing a card using products from Newton's Nook.   One of my all-time favorite NND stamp sets is Beautiful Blossoms (I think it's a favorite, as it is out of stock at the moment....sorry about that!   Be sure to sign up for the newsletter to be notified when it's back in stock!)   The weather this past weekend was very spring-like in Central NY, so I decided on a spring card for my day at the NND blog.

When organizing my ink pads this past weekend I came across a Colorbox pigment ink pad with 12 colors (you can find one HERE) that I hadn't used in awhile.    I used the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set to stamp the florals, stems and leaves all around my focal panel, being sure to ink in several colors per stamp.   I love how bright and cheerful this turned out.....and so easy, too!

For a little added pop, I used a light blue Copic marker to outline everything.    The sentiment is from the Simply Seasonal stamp set.   I finished the card off with some Doodlebug gems.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today.   I'll be back soon with some more inspiration!
