Hello, hello! Happy Monday (if Mondays can even BE happy, lol!) Today starts the Lil' Inker Designs April release. Over the next few days the design team will be sharing tons of inspiration using some fantastic new stamps and dies!
First up is a card using the new Cover Up Die: Dotted Chevron. I can't tell you how much I love LID Cover Up dies....and this one is no exception! I die cut the dotted chevrons from black paper and used it over top of an alcohol inked background. The So Very Kind Greeting die (released last month) was die cut from the same alcohol inked background piece and layered over the dotted chevron strip. Love how bright and cheerful this one is!
Next up is a soft and pretty Mother's Day card. I layered the Cover Up Die: Dotted Chevron once again for my background, simply layering white on white.
I die cut a wreath from the Spring Wreath die set twice - once from green cardstock and once from vellum. I added some ink to the edges of the green wreath and adhered it to the card panel. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Best Mom onto the vellum piece and carefully added glue behind the letters before fitting it back in place. I die cut a few flowers and leaves to add to the wreath and embellished the middles with Nuvo drops.
Want to win the entire April release?! I bet you do! To be eligible to win, leave comments on all of the DT blog posts over the next few days. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win!
