I also participated in the latest Papertrey contest. This one was so cool! We had to roll a die for each of nine different categories. By doing that, we had the "building blocks" to create a card! My elements ended up being the colors Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, Harvest Gold and Kraft, ribbon, buttons and spray mist. I also had to roll to determine the type of card (birthday) and which sketch I had to use. Here's what I came up with!
I NEVER use ribbon, so that was quite a challenge for me. I took the ribbon and threaded it with some floss to create a little flower and added the button for the center. Turned out too cute! And I sprayed the ink through a mask to come up with the perfect color combo!
And last but not least, a Valentine for my hubby. I succeeded (I think) in not making it too "girly". It's a manly man Valentine, lol! And he will get a kick out of the funny little creature.....
