Papertrey 6th Anniversary

Here are a couple of cards I did for entry into Papertrey's big contest. The first is based on a design by Maile Belles and the second is based on a card by Danielle Flanders. I had a great day of creating yesterday. I can hardly wait to get back to it tomorrow. Today I was derailed by an urgent care visit for my son....probable fractured wrist....boooo!!!

More Clean and Simple Cards!

Tonight I got to try out Laura's plaid stamping technique and I was pretty pleased with the results...with a bit more practice i'm sure it'll get easier!

I also made a custom ink pad and that turned out pretty cool too!

Clean & Simple 2

I signed up for Online Card Classes CAS 2 the other day ( a bit late!) but I finally had a chance to get a card done this morning, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Inktense colored pencils are so fun to use!!! I highly recommend them :)

Make it Monday

Today's MIM challenge was double embossing. I used Spring Rain PP and embossed the snowflakes in blue and white. I stamped the sentiment and mounted the panel using Enchanted Evening. A little twine finished it off!

Blogging from the iPad!

Things might've just gotten a lot easier! Forgive my random kitty shot. Trying to get the feel of blogging from the iPad versus the Mac..... Plus they're cute, don'tcha think?!?

It's Friday!!

Happy Friday! Here is a little mini album and card I made for a friend going through a difficult time. It just makes me smile! That's it for today - short and sweet! Have a great weekend....

World Card Making Day!

So today is World Card Making Day! I got two cards done today....one for my niece and one for the holidays. Wish I had time for more, but weekend stuff got in the way, lol! Enjoy - hope you got your crafty time in today :)
